an easier way to explaine a poper_ – when a popper is pulled it brings an air bubble under water making a popping noise and when that happens if there is a fish near they look at it and see the teathers on the end and are attracted to it and strike it.

best multispecies is curly tail grub on 1/8 ounce jig. Ive caught my biggest smallmouth ever 6 and a half pounds using this tactic. It also works great for musky, pike, and my favorite fish walleye.

“…bass’s diet consist of 890% craw fish…” Now i know why they get so fat! They’re eating nearly nine times the amount they are supposed to!

meet. You do this to keep the jig head from cutting the line if the fish twists with the lure. It has never happened to me, but a simple precaution to keep from losing the BIG ONE! Another good thing about them is that if you lose the lure your only out less than a buck.

CURL TAIL GRUBS!!! One of the most inexpensive and effective baits you can buy. Again, you want to match it to your native baitfish but a nice green color grub works perfect. You can get a pack of 10 grubs for 3 bucks and a pack of jig heads for 2. I would use 1/8 for bass and 1/32 for panfish (although the 1/32 work for the bass just fine I have had a few get off on the 1/32.) Also, before you put the grub on the jig head take a knife and shave off the edge where the two halves…
